Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6–7 years of strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs and SQL, along with good exposure to cloud technologies and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Java Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling and Java 8+ features.
- Design loosely coupled and scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Develop efficient database queries and work with JPA/Hibernate.
- Implement event-driven applications using Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable and high-quality code.
- Perform unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions.




- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of application performance, scalability, security and reliability.

Mandatory Skills

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
