Assistant Manager HR
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR professional who is well-versed in HR systems,
processes and employee lifecycle management. The ideal candidate should be
organised, people-oriented and comfortable working across recruitment, HR
operations, payroll coordination, employee engagement, compliance and HR
analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Implement HR policies, processes and initiatives aligned with business
objectives.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including
sourcing, interviewing, coordination and onboarding.
¢ Manage employee lifecycle processes including joining, documentation,
confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits and full & final settlement
coordination.
¢ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases and
personnel files.
¢ Manage and improve HR systems, including attendance, leave, payroll inputs,
employee data and HR documentation.
¢ Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, salary revisions, deductions,
incentives and other employee-related payments.
¢ Support the implementation and administration of employee benefits,
insurance, ESI, statutory requirements and any other HR programs.
¢ Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
¢ Support performance management, appraisals, KRAs and employee
development initiatives.
¢ Drive employee engagement initiatives and help build a positive and professional
workplace culture.
¢ Handle employee queries and support managers in resolving employee-related
issues.
¢ Prepare regular HR reports, dashboards and metrics for management review
and decision-making.
¢ Maintain HR policies, SOPs and process documentation and ensure effective
implementation across the organisation.
¢ Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
Requirements & Skills
¢ 36 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a growing or mid-sized
organisation.
¢ Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration or a related field.
¢ Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems and databases.
¢ Hands-on experience with HRMS/HR software and attendance systems.
¢ Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance,
including ESI, PF and any other compliance.
¢ Strong knowledge of MS Excel
¢ Experience in preparing HR reports and analysing HR metrics.
¢ Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
¢ Solid interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills.
¢ Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
¢ Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
¢ Strong sense of confidentiality, ownership and accountability.
