About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Service / Commissioning Engineer to handle the erection, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of Asphalt / Hot Mix Plants and related heavy industrial equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for working at customer and project sites, including international locations, and should be comfortable staying overseas for extended periods based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute erection, installation, commissioning, and trial runs of Asphalt / Hot Mix Plants at customer and project sites.
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities.
- Conduct equipment inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC/HMI, automation, and control-panel-related issues.
- Identify equipment breakdowns and provide effective on-site technical solutions.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Asphalt Plants and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams during project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and training to customer operators and maintenance personnel.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, commissioning reports, service reports,



and maintenance records.
- Ensure project activities are completed within the required time, quality, and safety standards.
- Support after-sales service activities and resolve customer technical complaints.
- Coordinate with the engineering and R&D; teams to identify recurring technical issues and suggest improvements.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and site requirements during erection and commissioning activities.
- Travel extensively across India and international project locations as required.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Asphalt / Hot Mix Plants or similar heavy industrial equipment.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, automation systems, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and breakdown analysis.
- Ability to independently handle technical issues at customer/project sites.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering





- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and strong hands-on experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in:
- Asphalt / Hot Mix Plants
- Road Construction Equipment
- Heavy Industrial Equipment
- Industrial Automation / Plant Machinery
- Similar heavy engineering equipment

Language & Communication

- Fluent in Hindi and English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid customer-handling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with customers and site teams.

Travel & International Assignment Requirements

- Extensive travel is required for this position.
- The candidate must be willing to travel to international project sites for erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of Asphalt Plants.
- Must be comfortable staying overseas for extended periods, depending on project schedules and customer requirements.
- Candidates with previous international site/project experience will have an added advantage.

- Strong hands-on and field-oriented professional.
- Experience in commissioning and servicing heavy machinery.
- Good technical troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Customer-focused with a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently under challenging site conditions.
- Flexible and willing to travel extensively, including international assignments.
- International experience in Asphalt / Hot Mix Plants or similar equipment will be an added advantage.
