Role :- Mainframe Developer

Experience:- 4+ years

Location:- Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, Kolkata

Required Technical Skill Set:- Mainframe ,DB2,COBOL, JCL,CICS,VSAM

Must-Have

- Positive working development experience of all mainframe technologies like Mainframe ,DB2,COBOL, JCL,CICS,VSAM
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Create and manage JCL scripts to efficiently handle batch jobs and workflows.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain DB2 databases for seamless data storage and retrieval
- Build and support transaction processing systems using CICS to enable high-performance applications.
- Manage VSAM datasets for optimized storage and quick access to data.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve application issues using FILE-AID, XPEDITOR, ONLINE DEBUGGER, while enhancing system performance.
- Team Collaboration and Documentation:



Work closely with stakeholders and document processes for streamlined development and maintenance.
- Experience in Build and deployment using DEVOPS tools.
- Good knowledge on creating build, test scripts and responsible for configuration of build deployment tool for Continuous Integration environments.
- Hands on experience in unit test case creation and technical documentation.
- Mentoring others and sharing best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and working in a matrix hierarchy.
- Proven permanent fix driven mind set.
- Proven evidence of identifying improvement opportunities and deliver them consistently.
