Position Title: - Project Manager - Civil (Nuclear Business)

Location: - Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Head Office)

The position will support the Head Nuclear Engineering in establishing engineering standards, design governance, constructability excellence, and internal capability development for nuclear civil engineering. The role aligns with AAEL's objective of building a strong in-house engineering organization and Design Authority capability.

Role Objective: To lead and successfully execute civil works for nuclear power projects by ensuring productive project planning, resource utilization, budget management, safety compliance, and timely delivery while meeting the highest standards of quality and regulatory requirements.

Project Management

- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of civil works for Nuclear Power Plant projects.
- Ensure project delivery within approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
- Develop project execution strategies and monitor progress against established milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and safety teams for seamless project implementation.

Project Planning & Control

- Prepare detailed project schedules and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
- Establish project tracking mechanisms and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project deliverables.

Budgeting & Cost Management

- Develop and manage project budgets and forecast expenditures.
- Monitor cost performance and implement corrective actions to maintain financial targets.
- Review contractor bills, variation orders, and project cost estimations.

Manpower Planning & Resource Management

- Prepare manpower deployment plans based on project requirements.
- Optimize utilization of resources, equipment, and workforce.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate project staffing.





Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct project review meetings and present project status reports to senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to nuclear industry standards, quality requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Qualification:-

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

- PMP / Project Management certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Total 15-20 years of experience and 5+ in nuclear power plant as project Manager and project planning.
- Minimum 8-10 years in major civil engineering leadership roles in nuclear power plant construction.

Exposure to nuclear plant siting, seismic qualification, safety-class structural design in nuclear projects would be highly preferred. This role supports the broader engineering mandate under the Head Nuclear Engineering,
