Role Overview

The Research Analyst at Nexus Equity Growth Fund plays a critical role in driving our investment strategies. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth equity market analysis, evaluating financial statements, and providing actionable insights to the portfolio management team. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating both fundamental equity research and operational tracking to support the fund's growth mandate.

Key Responsibilities

- Equity Market Analysis & Stock Screening: Conduct rigorous fundamental research, analyze market metrics, and identify high-potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling & Reporting: Build, update, and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts. Prepare comprehensive research reports and present clear buy/hold/sell recommendations to the investment committee.
- Portfolio Management Support: Track overall fund performance and monitor daily stock transactions. Regularly reconcile trial balances with current holding statements to ensure accurate portfolio tracking.




- Institutional Operations: Act as a technical and contract point of contact for the fund. Support institutional onboarding processes, ensure accurate entity documentation, and coordinate with external platforms and administrators.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: CA, CFA.
- Analytical Skills: Robust quantitative abilities with a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and corporate finance principles.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling techniques, and experience with investment research platforms.
- Attention to Detail: High precision in tracking transactions, managing contract parameters, and analyzing financial statements.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to distill complex financial data into strategic insights for stakeholders.
