Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Engineering Head with 25 years of expertise in the Road & Highways industry to join our team in Ahmedabad.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design engineering activities, ensuring the successful execution of road and highway projects.
He will oversee the design group in the preparation of detailed highway construction designs which incorporate's economy, safety measures and environmental consideration.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Prepare detailed design for construction projects to the contract stage.
• Providing technical direction to the design crew, assigning tasks, instructing in procedures, and ensuring the orderly progress of the project • Reviews and revises and complete design projects.
• Supervises revision of plans of projects to contract.
• Undertake independent studies or assignments.
• Deals with written enquiries assigned originating either from the public or from other government agencies.
• Directing the preparation of drawings and estimates in specific applications.
• Acquaintance with design codes and manuals • Contract Clauses interpretation.




• To incorporate state of art technology Behavioral Skills • Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Decision Making, Communication, Stakeholder Management and ability to inspire and motivate teams towards excellence Technical Skills • Comprehensive understanding of highway and structure design principles and practices • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications • Experience in managing complex design projects from concept to completion • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards • Expertise in analyzing and interpreting geotechnical and topographical data • Basic Knowledge of relevant design software and tools (e.

, AutoCAD, Civil 3D,MicroStation)

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: BE/B.
Tech – Civil Engineering or ME/M.
Tech Civil Engineering Work Experience (Range of years): 20-25 years of relevant experience Preferred Industry: Construction and Infrastructure Development
