Role & responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Advisory

- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and business performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations.
- Advise SMB clients on accounting best practices, financial controls, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Provide guidance on bookkeeping processes, financial reporting, chart of accounts management
- Interpret financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Assist business owners in making informed financial and operational decisions.

Client Support & Consultation

- Respond to accounting, bookkeeping, and finance-related inquiries through chat-based support platforms.
- Handle both general accounting support requests and complex financial scenarios requiring specialized expertise.

Explain financial concepts clearly

Financial Analysis

- Review and analyze balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance measurement activities.
- Assess Financial health and provide strategic recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Ability to interpret and analyze large and complex financial datasets





Candidate should have :

*Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO) / Experience providing support through Omni Chat or similar customer support platforms .

*Guide clients on best practices for setup, maintenance, reconciliation, and reporting within QBO

*Assist with account categorization, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and workflow optimization.

*Interpret financial reports generated from QuickBooks and provide advisory insights.

Preferred Qualification :

CPA, CMA, CA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualified certification

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, financial consulting, advisory services, or related fields.

Earlier experience serving in senior finance positions such as:

*Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

*Finance Director

*Financial Controller

*Vice President (Finance)

*Senior Finance Consultant

*Equivalent senior accounting or finance leadership roles

Demonstrated experience advising or supporting SMB clients and business owners, particularly within the United States market.

Experience working with and advising three or more organizations across different industries or business environments.
