Job Description: Node.js Developer (Express.js & Prisma)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and Prisma ORM. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of database design, and the ability to build scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Work extensively with Prisma ORM for database schema design, migrations, and queries.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

- Integrate external APIs and third-party services.

- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.





- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in Express.js.

- Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM.

- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server).

- Experience with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

- Strong understanding of REST API design principles.

- Good knowledge of Git and version control.

- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

- Experience working with GraphQL.

- Understanding of caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
