Role - SAP ABAP Consultant (for SAP ARIBA)

Must have

- Solid ABAP Programming Skills: A deep understanding of ABAP syntax, coding rules, and best practices.
• SAP Module Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, and PP, or expertise in specific modules relevant to the role. familarity about SAP Ariba module is added advantage
• Technical Design and Analysis: Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Testing and Debugging: Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging ABAP code.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with functional teams and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems related to SAP systems.
• (For Senior Roles): Experience in leading development teams, providing technical guidance, and contributing to system architecture.

- Integration with other systems: Developing interfaces to integrate SAP with other systems.
• Performance tuning: Optimizing the performance of SAP systems and applications.
• Cloud development: Potentially working with cloud-based SAP solutions and technologies.




• Agile development methodologies: Participating in agile development teams and following agile development processes.
• API Experience: should have worked on APIs

Roles and Responsibilities

1. ABAP Development:
• Creating and modifying ABAP code to develop custom solutions, reports, interfaces, and data conversions within the SAP system.
2. Functional Collaboration:
• Working closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Code Optimization:
• Ensuring the performance and efficiency of SAP applications by optimizing existing code.
4. System Support:
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP systems, including debugging and resolving issues.
5. Documentation:
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for SAP systems and applications.
6. Testing:
• Planning and executing unit tests to ensure that applications function correctly and meet business requirements.
7. Mentoring:
• (For senior developers) Guiding and mentoring junior developers, potentially leading development teams.
