Role & responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and relevant IS codes.
- Conduct inspections of civil, structural, finishing, and waterproofing works.
- Verify that materials used at site conform to approved specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to approved construction methodologies.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of activities.

Material Inspection & Testing

- Inspect incoming construction materials before use.
- Coordinate laboratory testing for concrete, steel, bricks, blocks, cement, aggregates, tiles, waterproofing materials, and other construction materials.
- Review and maintain all material test certificates.
- Ensure only approved materials are utilized at site.

Site Quality Monitoring

- Conduct routine quality inspections during various stages of construction.
- Identify deviations from specifications and quality standards.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) wherever required.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Perform pre-pour, post-pour,



and finishing inspections.

Documentation & Records

- Maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, NCRs, testing records, and quality registers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Maintain records of approved drawings, revisions, method statements, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation for project handover.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Architects, and Contractors.
- Assist site execution teams in resolving quality-related issues.
- Participate in client inspections and consultant approvals.
- Support internal and external quality audits.

Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and ISO standards.
- Monitor implementation of approved method statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

Continuous Improvement

- Analyse recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct quality awareness sessions for site teams.

Promote best construction practices and quality culture across projects.

Preferred candidate profile

5-10 years of relevant experience as a Quality Engineer in construction or Real Estate Sector.
