We have an opportunity with a reputed Flavors and Fragrance Company for the position of Process Chemist

Location: Pawane

Qualification: M.Sc

Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute chemical reactions in the laboratory as per defined protocols and instructions.
- Accurately record experimental results and prepare detailed reports including observations and conclusions.
- Conduct scale-down studies, process robustness testing, and negative trials to ensure “Right First Time” execution during manufacturing.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and glassware; communicate requirements to the stores department in a timely manner.
- Support the production team during batch execution in the pilot plant.
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and organizational systems.
- Assess process and raw material risks, and provide recommendations for safe and effective plant-scale batch execution.
- Follow all safety protocols in both laboratory and pilot plant environments.




- Handle raw materials in accordance with MSDS guidelines and report any associated hazards.
- Actively participate in technology transfer activities from R&D; to pilot plant or manufacturing plant.
- Experience in handling analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatograph (GC), Karl Fischer Titrator, Refractometer, etc., will be considered an added advantage.
