Title: Finance Associate - Delhi (on-site)

Experience: 2-3 Years of experience

Overview: A Successful Finance Associate should be detail-oriented and able to assist the finance manager with day-to-day financial procedures and internal financial controls. They shall be managing financial records, recording, updating, and reviewing financial data for audits and reviews.

Key Results

1. Effective and efficient finance knowledge

2. Support with internal financial controls and procedures

3. Effective management of databases and budget

Key Activities

1. Managing accounting record-keeping systems, and procedures for tracking and reporting, including recommending remedial measures

2. Preparing multiple complex and varied financial reports (including ad hoc reports) that require selection, preparation, and interpretation of data using complex data query tools

3. Understanding and upkeep of various financial compliances and accounts processes, by liaisoning with the internal team and external finance stakeholders, including accountants, auditors, CA, etc.





Critical Factors for Success

1. Candidates with educational or professional experience in finance or commerce, sound financial and accounting concepts understanding and expertise in Tally, Power Point and Excel (or willingness to learn rapidly), robust English communication skills

2. Education qualification: Minimum graduate with 2-3 years of work experience.
3. Willingness to travel to different locations across India, as required

4. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in an entrepreneurial environment 5. Ability to take leadership in ambiguous situations, even when unsupervised

Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Must-Haves • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in education, social impact, or development sector. • Proven ability to manage field teams and deliver measurable outcomes in a high-volume, multi-district context. • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and on Slack/digital tools — with a bias for visibility and proactive updates. • Comfort working directly with government officials, AWWs, and community stakeholders. • Ability to operate independently in the field while staying tightly aligned with remote leadership. • Willingness to be based in or travel frequently across UP districts (including Varanasi, Lucknow, Mathura, and others). Good to Have • Prior experience with ICDS, Anganwadi systems, or early childhood education programs. • Familiarity with tech-enabled community programs or Whats App-based content delivery. • Experience with OKR/KRA-based performance management. • Hindi proficiency — spoken and written.
