Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Word Press Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in website development, Word Press customization, and modern web technologies. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to build, maintain, and optimize Word Press websites.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, customize, and maintain Word Press websites.

* Install, configure, and customize Word Press themes and plugins.

* Build responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic Java Script.

* Assist in implementing website layouts based on design requirements.

* Update website content, images, and pages through Word Press CMS.

* Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs under guidance from senior developers.

* Integrate forms, third-party plugins, APIs, and tracking tools as required.

* Optimize websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.

* Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance activities.





* Test websites across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.

* Follow coding standards and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills

* Valuable understanding of Word Press CMS.

* Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script.

* Familiarity with Word Press themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor preferred).

* Understanding of responsive web design principles.

* Basic knowledge of website hosting, domains, and DNS concepts.

* Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

* Understanding of website performance and SEO fundamentals.

* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

* Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

* Knowledge of jQuery.

* Basic understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

* Familiarity with Woo Commerce.

* Exposure to Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

* Basic understanding of AI tools and Generative AI applications for content and productivity.

* Knowledge of website security best practices.

Educational Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field.

* Relevant certifications or project experience in Word Press development will be an added advantage.

Experience

* Freshers are welcome to apply.

* Up to 2 years of experience in Word Press or web development preferred.
