About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements, reports, and basic financial analysis.
2. Support day-to-day accounting activities, including recording and verifying financial transactions.
3. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
5. Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly finance reports and MIS for management review.
6. Track and report key financial activities, including expenses, collections, payments, and outstanding balances on a weekly and monthly basis.
7. Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities.
8. Track cash flow and assist in monitoring day-to-day financial transactions.
9. Perform vendor ledger reconciliation and ledger matching, including verifying invoices, payments, outstanding balances, and identifying discrepancies.
10. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice, payment, and ledger-related discrepancies.
11. Coordinate with internal teams for invoices, payments, expenses, and other finance-related requirements.
12. Assist with audits, statutory documentation, and other finance-related compliance activities.
13. Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned finance and accounting tasks.
14. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
15. Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
16. Ensure adherence to financial laws, regulations, and reporting standards.
17. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
18. Identify and mitigate financial risks.

3. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books for accounting entries, invoicing, expense management, bank reconciliation, vendor ledger management, and financial reporting.
