Role Summary
/n
The Enterprise / Cloud Architect will lead the migration and enablement of a large, stateful, monolithic Java application to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires deep expertise in RMI based architectures, stateful session management, DNS based service discovery, and high availability cloud design, ensuring seamless connectivity, session continuity, and protocol compatibility during and after migration.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Architect and drive the migration of a large monolithic application to GCP while preserving existing functional and non functional behaviors
/n
- Design and validate RMI implementation on GCP, ensuring reliable client server connectivity
/n
- Must have Experience in Cache Management/ Redis Cache / Valkey
/n
- Implement QDRMI sessions and validate continuity of connected client sessions
/n
- Design and manage stateful session and connection management across cloud instances
/n
- Enable and validate QDRMI connectivity between client applications and GKE
/n
- Implement DNS based service discovery to replace fixed IP dependencies
/n
- Design DNS routing strategies to eliminate tight coupling with server IP addresses
/n
- Ensure binary protocol compatibility between on premise clients and cloud hosted services
/n
- Validate client session persistence during:
/n
/n
o GCP instance restarts
/n
o Pod restarts and rescheduling in GKE
/n
/n
- Collaborate closely with application, network, and platform teams to resolve connectivity, latency, and session management challenges
/n
- Define architectural guardrails, patterns, and best practices for stateful workloads on GCP
/n
- Review and validate architecture designs, PoCs, and implementation artifacts
/n
