Position: Civil Engineer Industry: Construction / Real Estate
Experience: Minimum 5–10 Years

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.

· Ensure construction work is executed as per approved architectural drawings, structural drawings, designs and blueprints.

· Read, understand and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications.

· Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, site supervisors and vendors.

· Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work as per the project schedule.

· Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction-related issues.

· Ensure proper execution of RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing and other civil works.

· Check the quality of construction work and ensure compliance with required standards.

· Monitor the quality and quantity of construction materials used at the site.

· Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity estimates, material requirements and site measurements.

· Take measurements and verify contractor bills based on actual work completed.

· Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, labourers and site supervisors.

· Plan manpower and material requirements according to project requirements.

· Monitor material consumption and minimize unnecessary wastage.

· Identify deviations from drawings/specifications and coordinate with the concerned team for corrective action.

· Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, measurements and other project documentation.





· Coordinate with management and provide regular updates regarding project status, requirements and site issues.

· Ensure compliance with construction safety practices at the site.

· Troubleshoot technical and execution-related problems and provide practical solutions.

· Ensure proper finishing and quality of work before project handover.

· Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of multiple construction activities simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements

· 5–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.

· Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

· Solid practical knowledge of construction processes and site execution.

· Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings/blueprints.

· Good knowledge of construction materials, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing works.

· Experience in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, measurements and contractor bill verification.

· Strong contractor, labour and site team management skills.

· Good communication and coordination abilities.

· Ability to independently handle construction sites and resolve day-to-day site issues.

· Should be proactive, responsible and capable of working under project deadlines.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

· Candidates with experience in residential, commercial or building construction projects will be preferred.
