Job Summary

We are looking for a Telugu Content Writer / News Editor to join our editorial team for our Telugu News App. The ideal candidate should have excellent Telugu reading and writing skills, a strong understanding of current affairs, and a passion for journalism and digital news content.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and write accurate and engaging Telugu news content.
- Monitor breaking news, current affairs, trending topics, and local developments.
- Write compelling headlines, summaries, and news updates.
- Rewrite, edit, proofread, and fact-check content before publishing.
- Maintain high standards of Telugu grammar, spelling, and readability.
- Cover various categories including local news, national news, politics, entertainment, sports, business, and trending topics.
- Ensure news content is published accurately and within deadlines.
- Coordinate with the editorial team for timely content delivery.
- Follow editorial guidelines and maintain consistency in writing style.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism,



Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Excellent fluency in Telugu reading and writing is mandatory.
- Strong command of Telugu grammar, vocabulary, and sentence formation.
- Good knowledge of current affairs and news trends.
- Telugu-medium schooling and/or college education is preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, research, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment and meet deadlines.

Experience

Freshers to 2 years of experience can apply.

Candidates with experience in Telugu journalism, newspapers, digital media, news portals, or news apps will be preferred. Freshers with a relevant Journalism/Mass Communication degree and excellent Telugu language skills are also encouraged to apply.

Interview Process

Face-to-face interview is preferred.
