REInfra Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is a construction material supplier with an active fleet operation supporting material transport and logistics. We are looking for an experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet, ensure smooth day-to-day logistics, and drive operational efficiency across deliveries.

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Fleet Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire fleet lifecycle — from vehicle deployment and route planning to maintenance, driver management, and compliance — ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to project sites and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily fleet operations for material dispatch and delivery
- Manage a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles (trucks, tippers, trailers, etc.) used for construction material transport
- Optimize routes and vehicle utilization to reduce turnaround time and fuel costs
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and servicing to minimize downtime
- Ensure timely renewal of vehicle documents (RC, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, PUC)
- Recruit, manage, and supervise drivers; monitor driver performance and conduct
- Track fleet performance through KPIs — mileage, fuel consumption, delivery timelines, and maintenance costs
- Coordinate with the sales/dispatch team to align vehicle availability with delivery commitments
- Maintain accurate records of trip logs, fuel usage, maintenance costs,



and vehicle documentation
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Handle fleet-related budgeting and cost control
- Investigate and resolve issues related to accidents, delays, or vehicle misuse

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- 3–5+ years of experience in fleet management, preferably in construction materials, logistics, or commercial vehicle operations
- Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicles (trucks, tippers, trailers) and their maintenance requirements
- Familiarity with transport regulations, vehicle documentation, and permit/compliance processes
- Working knowledge of GPS tracking systems, fleet management software, and MS Excel
- Ability to manage and lead a team of drivers and support staff
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational issues in real-time
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites/depots as required
