Job Description – Assistant Professor (Management – Finance)

Position: Assistant Professor

Educational Qualification

- MBA with specialization in Finance is mandatory.
- Ph.D. in Management / Finance is mandatory.
- Candidates must have the required qualifications from a recognized university/institution as per applicable University/UGC norms.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance and Management.
- Handle subjects such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Markets, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Banking & Financial Services, and related areas.
- Develop course content, teaching materials, assessments, and academic resources.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, internships, dissertations, and research.
- Undertake quality research and publish papers in reputed national/international journals.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, FDPs, and other academic activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental academic initiatives.
- Engage with industry and support industry-oriented learning initiatives.




- Participate in institutional activities, committees, and other responsibilities assigned by the University.

Desired Profile

- Solid academic and research orientation in Finance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated research/publication record will be preferred.
- Ability to use modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Knowledge of statistical/econometric tools and financial analysis software is desirable.
- Candidates with relevant teaching and/or industry experience in Finance will be preferred.
