Job Title: FTL Vehicle Placement Manager

Department: Freight Operations – FTL Transportation

Job Summary:

The FTL Operations professional will be responsible for managing vehicle placement activities across South India, developing and maintaining transporter networks, ensuring timely vehicle availability, coordinating with customers and vendors, and driving smooth execution of FTL transportation operations with cost and service efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end FTL vehicle placement operations across South India region as per customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of transport vendors, fleet owners, and market contacts for vehicle availability.
- Identify suitable vehicles based on route, capacity, customer requirements, and operational timelines.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle placement, tracking, and movement updates.
- Negotiate freight rates with vendors and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Monitor vehicle movement, transit status, delivery timelines, and operational performance.
- Follow up for POD (Proof of Delivery)



collection and ensure timely submission for billing closure.
- Support billing processes by ensuring availability of required operational documents.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports related to vehicle placement, vendor performance, volumes, and operational status.
- Handle customer escalations and operational issues to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, transporter performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of FTL transportation operations and South India transport market.
- Good vendor development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in vehicle placement and transporter coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under timelines.
- Strong customer handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and operational tracking.

Pay: Up to ₹75,319.35 per month
