Key Responsibilities

- Install, manage, and troubleshoot Linux servers with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Manage disk partitions and LVM configurations.
- Create and manage users, groups, and sudo privileges.
- Work with ext4 and XFS file systems.
- Perform patching using yum, apt, and other package management tools.
- Configure and manage SSSD for authentication.
- Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts to automate system tasks and processes.
- Create, manage, and monitor cron jobs for scheduled operations.
- Understand and troubleshoot basic networking concepts related to Linux OS.
- Document issues, resolutions, and operational procedures accurately.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation throughout the year.

Positive to Have





- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud environments.
- RHEL certification.

Requirements

- Strong experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on knowledge of LVM, user/group management, file systems (ext4, XFS), patch management, cron jobs, and SSSD.
- Ability to write and understand Shell/Bash scripts.
- Good understanding of Linux networking fundamentals.
- Ability to work in on-call rotational support models.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
