Job Title: Salesforce Software Developer – Customization & Coding

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Location: HO, Mumbai

Reports To: IT Manager / Technical Lead / Project Manager

Job Summary

The Salesforce Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce CRM applications to meet business requirements. The role involves coding and customization of standard Salesforce functionalities, integration with third-party applications, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Development & Customization

- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using relevant software platforms.
- Customize standard Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and Flows.
- Build reusable and scalable Salesforce components based on business requirements.
- Design and implement custom objects, custom metadata, and custom settings.
- Enhance Salesforce UI.

2. Coding & Software Development

- Write clean, effective, reusable, and well-documented code following Salesforce development best practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

3. Integration Development

- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Integrate Salesforce with ERP, HRMS, Finance, Marketing Automation, Payment Gateway, and third-party applications.
- Manage authentication.

4. Data Management





- Perform data migration using relevant tools or APIs.
- Maintain data quality, security, and integrity.
- Design reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users.

5. Deployment & Release Management

- Manage deployments using Change Sets, Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
- Support sandbox management and release planning.
- Perform regression testing before production deployments.

6. Security & Compliance

- Configure Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Roles, and Field-Level Security.
- Ensure Salesforce implementation complies with organizational security and governance policies.
- Monitor system performance and resolve security vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Mandatory).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (Preferred).
- Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification is an added advantage.
