Senior Executive - Technical Sales Support

KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a proactive Senior Executive to join our technical sales support team. This role is crucial for interpreting tender specifications, performing pump selections, and handling costing and pricing to secure orders. You'll play a vital part in engaging with clients and contributing to new product development.

Responsibilities:

- Read inquiry (tender) specifications, select appropriate pumps, and handle costing & pricing as per guidelines/costing approval authority matrix.
- Assess the quality & inspection scope and requirements of technical specifications, preparing Quality Control Plans (QCP) accordingly.
- Provide timely responses to technical queries and participate in technical clarification meetings.
- Perform post-order contract reviews and release indents and purchase notes for accessories.
- Participate in techno-commercial discussions and negotiations alongside the front sales engineer in respective sales offices.




- Participate in vendor registration and approval activities for KSB facilities.
- Present KSB's range of pumps to clients/consultants.
- Actively participate in new product localization/development.
- Provide techno-commercial support to KSB countries to help them win orders.
- Work on bare shaft pump pricing with the Controlling department.

Skills:

- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and tenders.
- Proficiency in pump selection, costing, and pricing.
- Knowledge of quality and inspection requirements and QCP preparation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical clarifications and client presentations.
- Solid negotiation skills for techno-commercial discussions.
- A proactive approach to new product localization/development.
- Ability to provide effective technical and commercial support.
