Design Engineer

KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role is crucial for the design and development of current products, involving technical studies, CAD modeling, and ensuring compliance with relevant norms and regulations. You'll be a key contributor in providing essential technical documentation and support across various departments.

Responsibilities:

- Execute technical studies, calculations, value engineering, and similar tasks.
- Design & develop new products.
- Provide 3D CAD models, technical drawings, documentation (e.g., Technical Information Bulletin - TIB), and specifications for foundry, procurement, manufacturing, and sales.
- Process offer permit requests.
- Prepare all technical inputs for Parts list, and maintain them for respective sizes and their variants.
- Support other departments like Product Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchase, in case of technical questions.




- Carry out design checks according to relevant norms and regulations (like CE, ACS, ASME, API) and prepare required documentation.
- Assist with other product maintenance works, such as approval/validation processes and technical care for accessories (if applicable).

Skills:

- Proficiency in technical studies, calculations, and value engineering.
- Strong capabilities in design & development of new products.
- Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive technical documentation and specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant norms and regulations (e.g., CE, ACS, ASME, API).
- Strong problem-solving skills for technical inquiries and design checks.
- Excellent communication skills to support various internal departments.
- Detail-oriented for maintaining parts lists and documentation.
