Summary:

We are looking for an M&A; & Investment Banking Associate - Deal Origination with 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A; advisory, corporate finance, transaction advisory, PE/VC, fundraising or related financial services.

This is a business development and deal origination-focused role within the M&A; space. The candidate will identify potential sellers, buyers and investors, generate qualified deal opportunities, engage founders and business owners, and build a strong M&A; pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate potential M&A;, fundraising and acquisition opportunities.
- Research and approach founders, business owners, sellers, buyers and investors.
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls and skilled networks.
- Qualify opportunities based on business profile, financial performance and transaction intent.
- Understand basic financials, valuation expectations, EBITDA and deal requirements.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential transactions and structured follow-ups.
- Coordinate qualified opportunities with the investment banking and transaction team.




- Support seller onboarding and potential buyer-seller matching.
- Maintain CRM records and track lead and deal progression.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Investment Banking, M&A;, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, PE/VC, Fundraising or related financial services.
- Basic understanding of M&A; transactions, financial statements and valuation concepts.
- Strong interest in business development, deal sourcing and deal origination.
- Comfortable speaking with founders, investors and senior decision-makers.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable with proactive outreach and target-driven work.
