Position: Senior Façade Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Experience: 8 Years in Façade Engineering Key Responsibilities
* Independently handle façade engineering
* Strong knowledge of façade engineering, detailing and design principles.
* Hands-on experience in aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall systems.
* Valuable knowledge of façade profiles, glazing, hardware, fixings, interfaces and related components.
* Study project inputs including contracts, architectural drawings, IFC/BIM models, specifications and company standards.
* Identify missing information or discrepancies and proactively communicate with the Team Leader/Coordinator.
* Engineer aluminium/uPVC windows, doors, curtain walls, sliding systems and fire-rated façade systems.
* Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, elevations, sections and technical details.
* Apply appropriate profiles, glass, hardware, reinforcement, fixings, drainage,



sealing and façade interface solutions.
* Work with façade systems such as Kawneer, Schüco and other relevant systems.
* Use AutoCAD and Logikal effectively as per the approved engineering workflow.
* Perform complete self-QC and checklist verification before submission for TL/QC review.
* Support quality checking of drawings prepared by other engineers when required.
* Prepare clear RFIs and coordinate technical queries with Team Leaders and Netherlands teams.
* Monitor estimated vs. actual engineering hours and communicate delays, blockers and scope changes proactively.
* Minimise rework and NL QC comments through accurate project study and First-Time-Right engineering.
* Provide technical guidance, mentoring and knowledge sharing to junior and mid-level engineers.
* Participate in training, lessons learned and continuous technical development.
