Job Summary:
If you are an Application Engineering professional looking to grow and make a meaningful impact, Emerson offers an exciting opportunity to contribute as an Application Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in bid management by selecting appropriate valves, sizing actuators, and pricing isolation valve products and associated field equipment based on customer requirements. You will act as a technical expert during the quotation phase, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions tailored to specific applications.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Collaborate closely with internal and external customers to understand requirements and propose effective, application-based solutions.
- Prepare and submit high-quality quotations on time in coordination with business development managers, sales teams, legal, PMO, and factory teams.
- Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, partners, and distributors.
- Participate in pre- and post-order technical discussions with sales, PMO, product management,
and business stakeholders where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Review project requirements carefully and seek clarification or approvals from relevant stakeholders prior to submitting proposals.
- Ensure timely offer submissions while adhering to Delegation of Authority (DOA) compliance processes.
- Effectively manage priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
