Job Overview The Store Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and well-organized store, managing inventory, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers. This role requires knowledge of the paper industry and other stationery products and services, the ability to handle transactions, and strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Service • Acquire Customers: Contact potential customers through meetings, email, telephone and convert them into customers to add to sales and revenue. • Greet and Assist Customers: While in store, welcome customers warmly, understand their needs, and assist them in finding products or services. • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the manufacturers of paper/stationery, types of paper/stationery, and features to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers. • Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking to resolve any issues to the customer’s satisfaction. 2. Sales and Transactions • Sales Transactions: Operate the software (VasyERP) / point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, exchanges accurately. • Promotions and Upselling: Inform customers about current promotions, loyalty programs, and suggest additional products to enhance their purchase experience. • Sales Targets: Strive to meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the store. • Handle leads from IndiaMART, Just Dial, GMB, and walk-ins. Convert inquiries into orders. 3. Inventory Management • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and replenish shelves as needed to ensure availability of products. • Inventory Accuracy: Assist in regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records. • Product Display: Ensure products are displayed attractively and priced correctly. 4. Store Maintenance • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized store environment, including shelves, displays, and customer areas. • Compliances: Follow all government regulations regarding running of the business. 5. Qualifications a) Education and Experience • Education: Graduate or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in retail, sales, or store management is a plus. • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a store management is preferred. b) Skills and Competencies • Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers. • Sales Ability:
