Job Title: DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities: Web Server Management: Manage and configure web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx) to ensure high availability and performance. Optimize and troubleshoot server configurations for security and reliability. Database Administration: Oversee database administration for MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments. Optimize database performance, conduct regular maintenance, backups, and restore processes. Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot issues within databases. Version Control & CI/CD Pipelines: Set up and manage version control systems using Azure Repos and GitHub. Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code. Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker. Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, scaling, and deployment. Optimize containerized applications for performance and security. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and deploy infrastructure in cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. Configure and monitor virtual networks, compute resources, storage, and security in cloud environments. Ensure cloud environments are cost-effective, secure, and optimized for scaling. Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation. Develop scripts for automating repetitive tasks and processes using PowerShell, Bash, or other languages. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement and configure monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus) to ensure system health and performance.



Analyze and optimize infrastructure performance and troubleshoot alerts and incidents. Cloud Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain cloud security measures to protect systems and data within Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response. DevSecOps Implementation: Integrate security practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline by incorporating security tools for automated security testing (e.g., static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing). Work with development teams to build secure coding practices and manage security risks in the development lifecycle. Automate security controls and ensure compliance with security policies in development, testing, and production environments. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Ensure that best practices in DevOps, security, and compliance are followed in all projects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Web Servers: Experience managing IIS, Apache, and Nginx. Databases: Expertise in MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with Azure Repo, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions. Containerization & Orchestration: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in Azure and AWS. Cloud Security & Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with compliance frameworks. DevSecOps: Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and managing security risks. Automation: Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash. Certifications: AZ-104 Azure Administrator and AZ-400 Azure DevOps Expert.
