Role: Growth & Retention: General Manager

Job Description:

Candidate has 2 mandates:

1. Monthly Transacting users (MTU): Break and drive each part of the funnel:
New user conversion, Repeat user retention, Dormant user reactivation.

2. LTV: Improving the LTV of every user acquired on the platform: frequency
building and Cross-sell

Roles & Expectations:

1. MTU:

1. Planning & governance of the metric – Breakup of the metric (Cohort,
Traffic, Conversion), Inputs which influence the metric and Daily/Weekly
trends

2. Solutioning on Product nudges in discovery behaviours across the entire
journey on the app

Analytical framework to understand Traffic breaking by multiple
user-segments

4. End to end ownership: Do what it takes to move the metric by working with
stakeholders across Marketing, Comms, Merchandising, Product and Category
to move the metric

5. Plan for backup plans if metric is not on Track

2. LTV:

1. Define the LTV across multiple categories

2. Break problem statement into sub-problems and drive it by working with
owners of each sub-metric

3. Cohort-wise tracking and solutioning to improve the metric

Preferred Candidate:

* 3-4 years of post-MBA or 5-6 years of post UG work experience across
Management Consulting (or) Consumer strategy / Consumer facing Product in
Consumer tech companies

* First-principled thinking: building hypotheses of factors influencing target
metric, learnings from past successful/ failed experiments and designing recent
solutions.
