Supervise daily outbound operations and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules, assigning loads to drivers or carriers based on delivery timelines and priorities.
- Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items, quantities, and documentation.
- Oversee loading operations to ensure safety, compliance, and proper handling of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments using dispatch software or tracking tools; troubleshoot delays or issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (picking, packing, receiving, customer service) and external partners (drivers, carriers, customers).
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, delivery notes, and transport documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transportation regulations.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in performance reviews, training, and development of dispatch team members.
- Drive continuous improvement in dispatch accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
