Job Description:
Specialist - Legal Entity Controllership (LEC) - INThe role is responsible for month-end close accounting and reporting.
Daily general ledger control checks, reference data maintenance, management information reporting & analysis, inter-entity reconciliation, GL balance substantiation & reconciliation. The associate will be part of corporate accounting team

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Corporate accounting month-end close: The associate will execute month-end and quarter-end book close activities in line with internal guidelines and SOX controls. Responsibilities include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions and settlements, variance analyses, and account substantiations. Reconcile intercompany and equity accounts and fix the breaks. Perform M-o-M variance analysis and document reasons for the variances.
Legal entity preparation and analysis of quarterly financials, prepare quarterly packages and supporting reports required. They will also prepare audit responses and maintain updated procedure and documentation.




Close and consolidation process - Preparation of notes to accounts and shareholder's equity statements - Intercompany eliminations and investment-equity reconciliations, and resolve its discrepancies - Coordinate with external auditors, corporate accounting, tax teams, and system administrators
General Responsibilities: The associate will support ad hoc analyses, process troubleshooting, and closely coordinate and work with financial reporting team, treasury team, reconciliation team, fund admin team and FP&A; team.
The associate will be responsible for implementation of process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce risk, and apply critical thinking in evaluating processes, risks, and controls.
