Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on Supply Chain strategies and operational goals. Responsible for making moderate improvements to supply chain management processes and systems. Works to influence other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy.

Job Description
Supports senior managements across Supply Chain disciplines to identify gaps in processes and implementations; Conducts root cause analysis and identifies strategies to bridge the gaps. Supports implementation of identified processes and monitors to closure.
Supports identification of opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Gathers information on new vendors, sources, market, current processes and prices and seeks approval from seniors.
Resolves escalated issues with vendors and Supply Chain management.
Adheres to import, export, and excise regulation as per compliance.
May manage Supply Chain processes.

Key Responsibilities





Lead global sourcing initiatives across multiple categories, driving cost reduction, supply base optimization, and risk mitigation.
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and procurement goals.
Perform detailed should-cost analysis and cost modeling to identify savings opportunities and support supplier negotiations.
Generate, validate, and implement productivity and cost savings projects through value engineering, resourcing, and commercial optimization.
Manage end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes, including supplier identification, bid analysis, negotiation, and award recommendations.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to drive sourcing decisions and productivity initiatives.
Analyze market trends, commodity movements, and supplier cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
