Role Description The Farming Intern role at Akshayakalpa Organic is a full-time, on-site position based at the Shirur farm. The intern will support daily farm operations, including assisting with organic fodder cultivation,



monitoring cow health and well-being, and maintaining clean, protected housing and grazing areas. Responsibilities include helping with feeding routines, observing animal behavior, recording basic farm data, and supporting milk collection and handling processes in line with organic and hygiene standards. The intern will learn and apply sustainable farming practices, participate in farm improvement activities, and collaborate with farm staff and supervisors to ensure efficient and ethical operations. The role may also involve assisting in small-scale trials, documenting observations, and contributing to initiatives that enhance productivity, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship.
