WE ARE HIRING | ELECTRODE TESTING WELDER

INFRAFUSION ENGINEERING LIMITED is expanding its technical team and is looking for an experienced Electrode Testing Welder / Welding Technician to join our organization.

This position is specifically focused on the testing, evaluation and approval of welding electrodes and welding consumables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct practical welding trials and performance testing of welding electrodes
* Evaluate electrode performance, arc stability, bead appearance, penetration and overall weld quality
* Perform SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding tests and trials
* Conduct MIG/MAG welding trials wherever required
* Maintain accurate records of welding parameters and test results
* Identify welding defects and assist in corrective actions
* Prepare electrode testing reports and technical documentation
* Assist in preparation of WPS, PQR and welding qualification documents
* Support electrode approval, qualification and certification processes
* Work closely with the R&D;, Quality Control and Production teams

CANDIDATE PROFILE





* Hands-on experience specifically in welding electrode testing
* Strong practical experience in SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding
* Good knowledge of welding parameters, electrode performance and weld defects
* Experience in a welding electrode / welding consumables manufacturing company will be highly preferred
* Knowledge of BIS, AWS or other applicable welding standards will be an advantage
* ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical qualification preferred
* Candidates with strong practical welding testing experience are encouraged to apply
