Role Description The Head Transformer Design is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for leading the end-to-end design and engineering of power and distribution transformers across Cast Resin, Dry Type, Oil Cooled,



and Resin Impregnated configurations. In this role, the individual will oversee transformer design calculations, core and winding design, insulation coordination, and loss optimization, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer specifications. The position involves guiding a design team, reviewing and approving drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation, and collaborating closely with production, quality, and sales teams to support manufacturing and customer solutions. The Head Transformer Design will participate in design reviews, support testing and validation, troubleshoot design and performance issues, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, reliability, and noise reduction. The role also includes involvement in vendor technical evaluations, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and contributing to R&D; efforts for new product development.
