About the Role
The HR Generalist sits within Ushur's global Operations team — finance, accounting, legal, revenue operations, enablement and HR. The role supports the People function globally, with most day-to-day focus on India operations,



spanning payroll and statutory administration, advantages, the employee lifecycle, compliance, recruitment and engagement.
You work directly with Operations colleagues in India and the US as a peer on one global team, with shared ownership of company-wide processes.
Alongside the operational core, the role carries the People function's automation work — identifying where AI can take on repetitive tasks across hiring, onboarding and reporting, and supporting new ways of working as they are adopted across the India team. Ushur is becoming an AI-native company, and this is where that shows up in People processes.
Operational accuracy comes first: payroll correct and filings on time. The Director, People Operations reviews work carrying statutory or financial risk, with independent ownership building through the first few cycles.
