Role Description The Senior Design Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based at Fiem Industries Ltd. in Hosur. In this role, the individual will lead the design and development of automotive lighting and related components,



translating product requirements into robust engineering solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, conducting design feasibility and tolerance analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in R&D;, manufacturing, and quality to ensure designs are optimized for performance, cost, and manufacturability. The Senior Design Engineer will support prototype development, participate in testing and validation activities, and drive continuous improvement in design processes and standards. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with customers for technical discussions, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry and safety regulations.
