Role Description The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market development for Biotech Desk’s portfolio in the assigned territory, with a primary focus on Hyderabad. This full time, on-site role involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting relevant products and services to research institutions, laboratories, and industry clients.



Day-to-day activities include conducting client meetings and presentations, understanding technical requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating and closing sales. The Area Sales Manager will track sales performance, provide regular reports and forecasts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and effective post-sales support. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, participating in events or conferences as needed, and representing Biotech Desk in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Strong sales, territory management, and account management skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to recombinant DNA technology, antibodies, and other life science products.
Proficiency in customer relationship management, including consultative selling
