ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Procurement to join our Central Procurement team and manage sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials and other manufacturing requirements across our product portfolio, including bread, biscuits, cakes and other bakery products.
The role will own the end-to-end procurement cycle for assigned categories and suppliers—from requirement planning, RFQs and sourcing to negotiations, purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, invoicing and closure.
You will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D;, Warehouse, Finance, Sales and other internal stakeholders,



while managing supplier relationships to ensure timely availability, competitive costs, required quality and supply continuity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement & Sourcing
Ensure 100% availability of raw materials, packaging materials and other procurement requirements as per production and demand plans.
Manage RFQ/RFP and sourcing activities, ensuring requirements are complete and sourcing timelines are met.
Identify, evaluate, pre-qualify and onboard relevant suppliers and vendors.
Obtain competitive quotations and prepare commercial comparisons and evaluations to support procurement decisions.
Support supplier negotiations on pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms and other commercial parameters.
Drive alternate sourcing and supplier development to improve supply continuity and procurement efficiency.
Purchase Order & Supplier Management
Prepare and issue POs/Work Orders and ensure timely supplier confirmations
