Summary

Lead General Ledger Accountant responsible for end‑to‑end US R2R processes, month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, sales tax, and payroll reporting while supporting a US night‑shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Execute full‑cycle US accounting, including month‑end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, balance‑sheet schedules, and US payroll reports.
Manage fixed‑asset accounting, depreciation, and sales‑tax compliance.
Perform large‑scale data analysis across multiple sources and recommend corrective actions.
Drive end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities and ensure timely delivery of reports.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and close gaps.
Maintain and update US GL documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements





Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
8+ years of full‑cycle US GL experience (minimum 10 years overall).
Proven expertise in month‑end reconciliation, accruals, and US payroll.
Advanced Excel skills including PowerPivot, Power Query, lookups, and pivots.
Robust communication and time‑management abilities.
Self‑directed with capability to prioritize multiple tasks and drive issues to closure.
Experience with SAP (or Vision/Sage Fixed Assets) and QuickBooks.

Nice to have

Hands‑on experience with Vision or Sage Fixed Assets.
Familiarity with US sales‑tax reporting.
Experience using Power BI or similar data‑visualization tools.
