About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Architect with 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI architecture, advanced SQL, data modelling, and enterprise BI solutions.
The role will involve owning the end-to-end architecture of Power BI solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and technical leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-scale Power BI architecture and solutions.
Define Power BI architecture standards, best practices, governance, security, and deployment frameworks.
Design scalable and high-performance semantic models, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.
Design productive data models using Star Schema, Dimensional Modelling,



and other modern modelling approaches.
Implement and optimize Power BI Import, DirectQuery, Composite Models, and Direct Lake where applicable.
Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations and optimize report and model performance.
Lead Power BI migration, modernization, and enterprise BI implementation initiatives.
Design solutions integrating Power BI with Azure, SQL Server, cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and other enterprise data sources.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), workspace governance, and access controls.
Define deployment strategies using Power BI Deployment Pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI performance, capacity utilization, refresh failures, and data quality issues.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical architecture and BI solutions.
