Role Overview

The Interior Design Manager will be responsible for leading the interior design team and managing the complete design lifecycle of residential interior projects—from client brief and concept development to final design approval and execution handover.

The role requires a combination of creative leadership, technical knowledge, client management, team management, and project coordination.

The Design Manager must ensure that designs are aesthetically strong, functionally practical, commercially viable, and accurately communicated to the execution team.

Review designers' work at key stages of every project.
Establish design standards, processes, and quality benchmarks.
Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Monitor individual designer performance and productivity.
Train team members on design standards, materials, software, and client handling.
Ensure designers follow the company's design process and timelines.
Client Brief & Requirement Understanding
Ensure detailed understanding of the client's lifestyle, preferences, functional requirements, budget, and expectations.
Review project requirements before design development begins.
Ensure all client requirements are properly documented.
Identify design opportunities, constraints, and potential execution challenges at the initial stage.
