Purpose Of Role

To coordinate, monitor and control all NDT activities for fabrication projects, ensuring timely execution of testing, reporting and compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, safety standards and fabrication schedules.

The role shall support effective interaction with Production, Welding, QA/QC, Clients, TPIs and Certifying Authorities to achieve project quality objectives.

Key Responsibility Areas

Prepare, review and implement NDT procedures, technique sheets and inspection plans in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
Coordinate NDT activities with QA/QC, Production, Welding, Planning, Clients, TPI agencies and Certifying Authorities.
Ensure timely execution of RT, UT, MT, PT, PAUT, TOFD and other applicable NDT methods as per project requirements.




Monitor daily NDT progress and ensure completion of inspection activities in line with fabrication schedules.
Verify validity and calibration status of NDT equipment and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Surveillance, Witness, Cross checks NDT activities at site and resolve technical

issues related to inspection and testing.

Review NDT reports and records for completeness, accuracy and compliance prior to submission.
Monitor NDT manpower deployment and optimize utilization of resources.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, ASME, AWS, API and other applicable codes and standards.
Support client inspections, audits and surveillance activities related to NDT.
Maintain NDT databases, records and traceability

documentation.

Promote secure working practices and ensure adherence to EHS requirements during NDT activities.
