The Strategic Sourcing Senior Associate will play a key role executing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, category strategy, and negotiation requirements for Customer Engagement (Patient Support Services, Call Centers, Medical Information and Specialty Pharmacy) business stakeholders. This includes leading sourcing initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and enabling third-party solutions that enhance AMGEN spend management, for the categories under the scope of responsibility.




The role will apply solid financial and analytical acumen to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing structures, spend and market data, business requirements, and sourcing scenarios to support fact-based recommendations and maximize value.
Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively in a complex global stakeholder environment, apply creative problem solving to ambiguous business challenges, and leverage procurement technology, analytics, and market intelligence to improve sourcing decisions and business outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Drive Sourcing events, on behalf of Amgen , delivering world class procurement services.
Partner with Category Management and Business Partners to identify and build sourcing initiatives based on opportunities
Deliver cost efficiencies, improved speed-to-market, and supplier innovation.
Lead projects through sourcing events, vendor negotiations, and contract dev
