We're looking for an experienced In-Situ Machining Planner to lead pre-job planning and execution coordination for our portable machining field operations across heavy industry sites.
What you'll own:
Pre-job planning for in-situ machining assignments — flange facing, line boring, journal turning, cold cutting, bolt torquing & tensioning
Reviewing customer drawings, POs, and scope documents to build job execution plans
Selecting and allocating portable machines, tooling, and consumables per job requirement
Coordinating mobilisation logistics — manpower, equipment, site permits, and travel
Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and job cards for field teams
Monitoring job progress, tracking against schedule, and flagging deviations to management




Supporting post-job documentation — inspection reports, as-built records, client sign-offs
What we're looking for:
8+ years in in-situ / portable machining operations or planning — oil & gas, power, refinery, cement, or steel plant experience preferred
Working knowledge of portable machining equipment — flange facers, line boring machines, pipe cold cutters, hydraulic torque/tension tools
Ability to read P&IDs;, isometrics, and mechanical drawings
Familiarity with PTW systems, LOTO, and shutdown/turnaround planning protocols
Robust coordination skills — field teams, clients, and internal operations
