Role Description The Bus Driver – Tech On Wheels Program is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The driver will be responsible for safely operating the Tech On Wheels bus, transporting digital equipment and educational materials to designated night schools and program locations. Daily tasks include following scheduled routes, ensuring timely arrival and departure, performing basic vehicle checks,



and maintaining cleanliness and order inside the bus. The driver will coordinate with program staff to support loading and unloading equipment, assist in setting up the mobile classroom area when needed, and follow all traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves maintaining accurate logs of trips, reporting any vehicle issues promptly, and interacting respectfully with students, school staff, and community members.
Qualifications
Valid commercial or public transport driving license, with a solid record of safe driving and familiarity with Mumbai routes.
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and coordinate with service providers for repairs.
Comfort working around digital and educational equipment, with basic troubleshooting skills for common operational issues.
