Job Purpose: Responsible to lead the Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation &
Resettlement processes for a coal mining business. The role involves strategic
decision-making, budget development, stakeholder collaboration, and overseeing
legal matters related to land procurement. Also, responsible for ensuring that
all land acquisition and R&R; activities are carried out efficiently at all sites
in compliance with regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES





P&L; Responsibility

*Responsible for achieving Annual budgets, cost optimization and profitability
of each operating mine in the Cluster.

Development of New projects and expansion of operating Mines

*Project Management of recent & upcoming projects

*Responsible for expansion of operating mines as per Annual budget

Safety and Compliance

*Ensure all mining activities across the cluster comply with the Coal Mines
Regulation of 2017 and other relevant safety standards.

*Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols and procedures to maintain a
safe working environment.

*Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at all sites, identifying
potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.

*Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all employees prioritize safety in their
daily activities.

*Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for employees across the
cluster.
