* Develop and manage Incoming quality strategies based on the current
challenges and establish & maintain supplier performance metrics, KPIs, and
scorecards.
* Ensure effective inspection and verification of incoming raw materials,
components, and assemblies as per approved quality standards.
* Define and implement inspection plans, sampling plans (AQL), and acceptance
criteria.
* Approve or reject incoming materials and ensure proper segregation and
traceability of non-conforming material.
* Monitor supplier KPIs such as PPM, rejection rate, response time, and
delivery quality.
* Ensure effective implementation and verification of corrective and preventive
actions (CAPA).
* Strong hands-on experience on SAP QM.
* Coordinate joint problem-solving activities with suppliers.
* Ensure proper documentation and adherence to quality systems and standards.
* Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001:2015 and E&Y; etc).
* Support current product development (NPD) and first-time right approvals.




* Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
* Thorough understanding of Quality management tools like APQP, PPAP, Lean Six
Sigma, SPC, Measurement System Analysis, 8D, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), FMEA
(Failure Mode and Effects analysis), Control Plans, QAP (Quality Assurance
Plan) etc.
* Present regular reports on incoming quality performance and improvement
initiatives to senior management.
* Work closely with internal teams e.g. PSM, CRI, Plants, Service to ensure the
smooth integration of incoming quality management processes.

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering
* 8 + Years of experience in Incoming quality management
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001,), Quality tools
(FMEA, 8D, SPC, GD&T; etc.)
